Session 2 - Step 10
Start to phase out your problem solutions as soon as you can
Phase out any temporary solutions
After enough repetitions, start to phase out anything you have put in place to prevent the problems. Here we started to remove the barries. Not all at once, just part of them to make sure we still get the behaviour that we want with only a reduced set first. If we push to getting rid of barriers altogether it is likely your dog will go straight back to going around. Go slowly and at your dog's pace. You may have to remove and replace several times to make sure you deal with the problem properly.
Step 11 - Repetitions make it reliable.
Make sure your dog is getting it right often!
